Constructed in 1901, Paço Municipal has in its underground a collection around 1,3 thousand oeuvres by important artists from the State and from abroad. The exhibition room at Pinacoteca Aldo Locatelli gathers, besides paintings and sculptures, curiosities about the old building’s architecture.

    In the basement, the visitor stumbles upon unfinished walls, sustentation arches and train trails used as metal timbers. The vault turned into materials deposit, but the old prison cell is still there. It is situated on 10, Praça Montevidéu – Centre. Mondays to Fridays, from 9h to 12h and from 13h30 to 17h30.
